Behind the alter is a most amazingly realistic mural, which gives the impression of Romanesque type columns. The organ is reputed to be the second oldest in Spain.

The Rio (river) Mundo runs alongside this friendly village, here you can enjoy fishing, swimming or just wander along the riverside pathway. Further to the east is the water reservoir: Embalse de Talave, which has beaches for swimming and fishing. The lake is also used for water sports.
