The town part of la Cuenca del Mar Menor, separated by the river basins of the Segura and the Guadalentín through the sierras (mountain ranges) de Columbares, Almenara y Carrascoy.

CARRASCOY MOUNTAIN RANGE

Natural space with a great diversity of flora and fauna. This mountain range has exceptional ecological characteristics, the highest point more of this mountain range being the Carrascoy vertex, at 1065 metres above sea level.

CHURCH OF SAN AGUSTÍN.

The church of San Agustín that began to be erected in 1545 when the town was under the municipality of Lorca. The work taking several stages, being completed in 1582. The addition of the tower being finalized in 1621 and renovated in 1845. Situated next to the chapel of the Virgin of the Rosary it was the burial place for the most influential personages.

HERMITAGE SAN ROQUE

Constructed in the sixteenth century is typical of such structures if that time.
It can be found at the junction of the streets, Pedro Guerrero and Juan Perez.
